Church Point, La. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Guidry Funeral Home in Church Point, La. for Thomas Edison Daugereaux, Sr., 90. Mr. Daugereaux, a native and life-long resident of Church Point, died at 6:30 A.M. Wednesday, February 8 at Acadia-St. Landry Hospital in Church Point. Father Stephen Ugwu will conduct the services with interment following in the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Church Point.

Survivors include a son, Edison Daugereaux, Jr. and wife Andree of Sulphur, La. and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leopaul and Alice (Wimberley) Daugereaux and his wife, Mary Lou (Richard) Daugereaux .

The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 8:00 A.M. until the time of the services on Thursday. A recitation of the Rosary will be held at 2:00 P.M by Father Ugwu.

A U.S. Army veteran of WWII and a member of the American Legion and VFW, Mr. Daugereaux retired from a career as an operator in a chemical plant. He will be honored with a Flag Presentation Ceremony at the time of services.
